Simon Jones starred as C.S. Lewis in the Guthrie Theater's production of William Nicholson’s Shadowlands. Joe Dowling was the director.

The play is based upon the love story of famous British author and scholar, C. S. Lewis, a committed bachelor, Christian, and Oxford professor, with outspoken American poet, Joy Gresham.
